Peak To Creek
January 25, 2014
The never ending ski run: from 3012 to 1225 meters!
The most fun and representative amateur race of the Bormio will be back on JANUARY 25, 2014.
Join the event Peak to Creek, a peculiar and unique race: 1800 meters of vertical drop, 30 directional gates only to give you trace and the paired up start. It does not matter if your time will be 5 or 30 minutes.. The only thing that counts here is enjoying this fantastic ski run and once you will get down to the bottom, the satisfaction will be huge! You start from Cima Bianca (3012 mt) and you get all the way down to Bormio (1225 mt), at the bottom of the famous “World Cup” slope, the Stelvio.
Peak to Creek is a ski run for everyone and for all the ages, a ski run in total freedom, a different way to spend your day on the snow, with your partner or family, a new way to challenge your best friend or work mate and it’s a good chance to meet new people too.
Peak to Creek is a non competitive race, open to pros and beginners, but especially addressed to all those who love alpine skiing and need to give vent to their skiing passion. You will be skiing on the same snow where the World Cup champions compete, on the shivering technical passages like “Carcentina” or “muro di San Pietro”.
The ski run is long and challenging because it doesn’t give you much break but it is within every every avarage skier’s reach.
And now it is time to watch the spectacular air shots of the fourth edition of Peak to Creek! Revisit all the track from the 3012 meters of Cima Bianca all the way down to Bormio (1225 m)!
